Founded in 1977, the Schaefferstown Community Ambulance Association (SCAA) was created to serve the residents of the Schaefferstown area and was housed at the Schaefferstown Volunteer Fire Department on N. Locust St. in Schaefferstown. Since the founding of the SCAA, we’ve changed our name to the Schaefferstown Emergency Medical Services (SEMS), and also made the move from the fire department, to a new station that was completed in March of 2012 just up the street from the fire department. Even with a shortage of volunteers in the United States, our crews strive to serve you in your time of need!
