Community Involvement

The Mission of SEMS is to provide 24-hour prehospital emergency medical services to our community, however our job doesn’t stop there! Our community supports SEMS’s efforts through generous donations of both time and money. SEMS’s commitment to our community is to provide non-emergency services also, like standby services for ELCO football games, and provide access to our station’s conference room and facility for community events or meetings.

Our building has a spacious meeting/conference room with tables, chairs, and a full compliment of AV equipment for presentations. A kitchen is also available, which connects to the meeting/conference room, making it easy to serve drinks or snacks for your group. Several other spaces/rooms are available for break-out sessions.

If you wish to schedule a time for your group to use the SEMS building, whether it be once or on a regular basis, please contact Chief Loren Miller at (717) 228-7776 or email lmiller@sems160.com.

Schaefferstown EMS proudly hosts the following groups: Schaefferstown Boy Scout Troop 417, Schaefferstown Girl Scouts, & the St. Paul’s UCC Bible Study Group.
